The farmers who share a partnership with Guidestone are at the heart of what we do in providing educational opportunities and in supporting the local food economy and culture. Guidestone has made lease agreements with several farm businesses:

Weathervane Farm
Weathervane Farm operates a 1 acre vegetable garden in Buena Vista, Colorado.  They aim to serve the Upper Arkansas Valley food shed by producing vegetables and poultry products on their farm and providing fruit from the Western Slope.  These products are available through a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share program, at the Salida Farmers Market and at various retailers in Chaffee County.

Cottonwood Creek Dairy
Cottonwood Creek Dairy is a raw milk enterprise offering shares in its Jersey milking herd so that you can have your own source of raw milk. One cowshare yields approximately one gallon of milk per week. A regular monthly boarding fee covers the cost of feeding, housing and milking the cows. While it is not legal to sell raw milk in the State of Colorado, recent legislation has legalized raw milk distribution through a consumer/farmer contract known as a cow share agreement. Cottonwood Creek Dairy is laying plans to build a micro-dairy to provide raw milk in Central Colorado.

Colorado Grown: Food from Farm to Home
We are a distribution service located in Buena Vista at the base of the magnificent Collegiate Peaks in Chaffee County. We provide wholesome, healthy foods from a network of Colorado farmers including raw dairy products, organic meats, vegetables, fruit and more. See our product list and order form for information about participating farms and available products. Additionally, Colorado Grown raises custom lamb and beef on the meadowlands along Cottonwood Creek. Our lamb and beef order form describes our meat products and  pricing.
